This. Product. Oh my gosh!
I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks, I mean a huge fan. As in I only really wear matte lipsticks, outside of my Revlon Color Burst lipsticks.
So I did a review of some NARS lipsticks that I picked up a while ago. You can see that here. I fell in love with the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu, the color is great, the staying power is great.
I saw on Pinterest where someone compared the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil to the Sonia Kashuk Velvety Matte Lip Crayon. I am a huge fan of Sonia Kashuk but I had not tried any of her lip products. If I would have known that this existed I would have been all over it!
I got the Raspberry Nude, I wasn't really sure what the color was going to look like. I'm not a huge fan of pink - but Target was sold out of everything except this and an orange color. I love me some orange but I have quote a few orange lipsticks.
I opened this and was so scared. Its not that I am scared of wearing color, I just thought this was going to look awful on me and that I was never going to wear it again.
WRONG!
I am obsessed with this color, I have been wearing this every change that I get.
The texture and finish of this lipstick is pretty big game changer for me. It's so stinking awesome!

The price alone kind of makes this a no brainer.
For some reason the SK is way easier for me to apply, the NARS is a bear to work with.
Neither of these lipsticks really dry out my lips which is a bonus. I really like the finish of the SK better, the NARS has a tendency to look streaky if you don't reapply it.
I am happy to report this is one you can save your money on - not only is the price awesome its overall a better product.
I will be getting every color that SK makes in these. I am so blown away!
